A bit more about me
Welcome to Ladysign! :) As you can see in the headline, my name is Balazs Varkonyi, and this is my new webdesign portfolio. I am working as a freelance web architect and designer located in Budapest, Hungary.
I simply love designing and building beautiful and accessible websites, using and learning new techniques and give my best for the customers.
I am always very passionate about everything I do - let it be a whole website or just a minor question from my client.

What I can do for you
Would you like a brand-new website or just refresh your current webpage? I can provide unique webdesign services to anyone from small and middle-sized businesses to individuals.
If you are interested in how I create the websites (I hope you are :), let's look at the 3 easy steps (Designing, Coding and Publishing) in the right menu.
Step 1 - Designing
After we have discussed your ideas about your new website, and both of us have a clear picture of the colors, the layout and the website's purpose and target audience, I am starting to create a design plan of your new site.
When it is done, I am sending it to you for a review. If you have any new idea or maybe you do not like something in the design, we discuss it again, and I create an other one, or just change anything you do not like.
If I am done with the designing part, and you are fully satisfied with it, we can go on Step 2.
Step 2 - Coding
After you have approved the design, I am starting to hand-code your website with valid XHTML and CSS code.
If the complete code is working on all most used browser, and pass the W3C's validations, I also integrate a Content Management System - if you need it. With the help of that, you can easily edit your website online.
When everything is done, including a final review and testing I am sending you the website for a last approval.
Step 3 - Publishing
If you approve my work, and you are fully satisfied with your new homepage, I am helping you to register your domain name - if you haven't got it yet.
If you do not have it yet, I recommend you to use one.com's services, they give cheap and fast service, and a user-friendly interface
After we have published your site, and it is working well, we are done!
Of course, if you have any problem or question later on, I will be there to give you a hand. After one month the updates have a small price.
My skills
I have started to design websites for more than 5 years. During this time I have gained a lots of experience in the following programs and techniques:
- Adobe Photoshop for creating unique designs
- XHTML hand-coding for well structured and valid pages
- CSS hand-coding for cross-browser styling
- jQuery for beautiful and dynamic effects
- SEO to make your site the best friend of Google
- CMS the easiest way to manage your site content online
Pricing
I don't really like hourly and fixed costs, so the price of your homepage is a question of agreement. It depends on your wishes and the difficulty of the website. All basic sites includes the following:
- Unique design with Photoshop
- Well structured XHTML pages
- Hand-coded CSS styling with cross-browser support
- Online Content Management System If needed
- One month free site-support smaller updates and modifies
